Airships: Conquer the Skies

It's been a little over a week since the first early access release, so here's an interim report.

There's a community of players growing on the forums, and we're starting to organise multiplayer battles. Tactics for building and commanding ships are getting discovered and evaluated, and I'm keeping an eye on the game balance. We're also claiming all the prettiest coats of arms.

I'm currently working on the third early access release, which due to come out sometime next week. It will focus on bug fixes and multiplayer user experience improvements. After that, the next release is going to take a bit longer, as I want to add major new features such as boarding and turreted weapons.

I also realised I need to explain this "early access release" thing a bit more:

Buying the early access release gets you all future updates up to the final release for free. Right now, the game costs $5. The price will rise to $10 later in development, and to $15 when it's complete. So if you want the game, now is the cheapest time to buy it.

So what's next? I'm working on future releases, and I'm also figuring out where the game music should come from. Also, there are a number of blog posts in the pipeline such as a ship design guide and some lore on the whole "crystals that keeps your ship aloft" thing.
